First of three seminars held in this project was an opening Prague seminar that introduced the project to the Czech NGOs. This seminar was opened for all NGOs interested in this topic. Representatives of Norwegian Helsinki Committee took part at this seminar and were ready to answer various questions concerning partnership with Norwegian NGOs or other organization etc.

Approx. 20 representatives of Czech NGOs participated at the second seminar held in Norway, where they had opportunity to meet their counterparts (partners) from Norway. At the seminar there were a discussion about the planned priority areas, about the types of joint projects and experience from previous and other partnerships; examples of the best practice were presented as well. After return, participants passed the information acquired on to other interested parties through written reports, which have been published on the web portal.

A similar seminar, open for Czech public was organized also in the Czech Republic, approx. one month after the seminar in Norway, 27 May 2010, where 22 representatives of Norwegian NGO sector had chance to exchange their experience and to answer to questions of Czech NGOs. This seminar was an open platform for informational an experiential exchange among participating NGOs.

Prague Conference
The conference Road to Cooperation - Development of a Czech-Norwegian Partnership was held in Prague on thursday 27 May. The conference, arranged by Civil Society Development Foundation and the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, with support of the Norwegian Embassy in Prague, aimed to facilitate Czech-Norwegian partnership.22 Norwegian participants from different parts of Norwegian civil society were present at the conference, which was attended by more than 80 representatives from the Czech civil society, Ministries and academic society.

Prague Conference
The conference "Towards cooperation - the development of Czech-Norwegian partnership” will be held at the National Technical Library in Prague on May 27, 2010. During the morning session three keynote speakers from the Czech and three from the Norwegian side post their presentations. Three thematic workshops will follow in the afternoon program. The conference aims to exchange experience, identify possible mutual points of Czech-Norwegian cooperation and possibilities for its development. The workshop will also discuss various issues related to financing possibilities of the Czech NGO activities as well as opportunities for cooperation with the Norwegian side in these areas. Conference capacity is 150 participants, the conference will join about, 25 representatives on Norwegian NGOs as well as two representatives of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prague.
