Prague Conference
The conference Road to Cooperation - Development of a Czech-Norwegian Partnership was held in Prague on thursday 27 May. The conference, arranged by Civil Society Development Foundation and the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, with support of the Norwegian Embassy in Prague, aimed to facilitate Czech-Norwegian partnership.22 Norwegian participants from different parts of Norwegian civil society were present at the conference, which was attended by more than 80 representatives from the Czech civil society, Ministries and academic society.

Prague Conference
The conference "Towards cooperation - the development of Czech-Norwegian partnership” will be held at the National Technical Library in Prague on May 27, 2010. During the morning session three keynote speakers from the Czech and three from the Norwegian side post their presentations. Three thematic workshops will follow in the afternoon program. The conference aims to exchange experience, identify possible mutual points of Czech-Norwegian cooperation and possibilities for its development. The workshop will also discuss various issues related to financing possibilities of the Czech NGO activities as well as opportunities for cooperation with the Norwegian side in these areas. Conference capacity is 150 participants, the conference will join about, 25 representatives on Norwegian NGOs as well as two representatives of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prague.

Evaluation committee together with the Committee of Regions of the Council of the Government for NGOs of the Czech Republic selected a total number of 20 organizations that will participate in seminar in Oslo, Norway 21st term - 23 4th 2010. The list of selected organizations is published at the Seminars section.

1.března proběhl úvodní seminář k novému projektu NROS
1. března 2010 proběhl v Praze seminář zaměřený na rozvoj partnerství českých a norských organizací a zúčastnilo se ho celkem 78 zástupců českých neziskových organizací z celé České republiky.

Jednalo se o úvodní seminář projektu Cesta ke spolupráci – rozvoj česko-norského partnerství, v rámci kterého, mimo jiné, proběhne také studijní cesta zástupců českých NNO do Norska, seminář s norskými partnerskými organizacemi a vznikne veřejná elektronická databáze českých i norských organizací se zájmem o vzájemné partnerství.
Vedle zástupců NROS a Norského helsinského výboru (partnera projektu), na semináři vystoupil také zástupce Velvyslanectví Norského Království, zástupkyně střešní organizace norských NNO a představitelky českých NNO, jejichž organizace realizovaly úspěšné česko-norské projekty v rámci 1. programovacího období Blokového grantu pro NNO (FM EHP/Norska).

NROS has launched a Call for non-profit organizations that are interested in participation in a project aimed at building a partnership with the Norwegian organizations. Civil Society Development Foundation (NROS) introduces a new project “Road to Cooperation -Development of a Czech-Norwegian Partnership” supported by the Block Grant - Technical Assistance Fund financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism and Norwegian Financial Mechanism. This project will run until the end of 2010 and all information about it will be available on this web site.
